PEAK Qualifications
Who qualifies as a PEAK Leader?
• Residents of Clallam or Jefferson County old enough to have demonstrated leadership (generally an adult who is 18 years or older), including those who represent the public, private, non-profit and/or community service interests of the area.
• Those who want to improve and increase their personal leadership capacity so they can reinvest themselves as a part of the solution for overcoming the challenges facing their communities.
• PEAK participants are selected through a nomination or referral, application and interview process.
What are the expectations of a PEAK Leader?
• A PEAK Leader must be fully committed to attending and wholeheartedly participating in the six monthly PEAK Leadership sessions.
• Actively participate and fulfill a small group collaborative project focusing on a real-time need, challenge or issue facing the North Olympic Peninsula.
• Aspire to the qualities and attributes of a PEAK Leader:
Purposeful, Effective and Authentic, the Keystones
of quality leadership.
• Willing to reinvest his or her personal and
professional leadership capacity on behalf of
the greater good of the North Olympic Peninsula
